Terms of Service

By creating an account or sending a message to Ryke.ai (“we”, “us”, “Ryke”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Ryke.ai is operated as an AI-powered messaging coach for fitness, nutrition, and wellness. The service is not a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, or therapeutic care.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Ryke.ai. By using the service, you represent that you are 18 or older and capable of forming a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate information during onboarding and to keep that information current.

When you submit your phone number during onboarding, you expressly consent to receive recurring text messages (SMS, MMS, or iMessage) from Ryke.ai, including AI-generated coaching responses, proactive check-ins, reminders you schedule, account notifications, and replies to messages you send us. Message frequency varies based on your usage and selected check-in cadence; you can expect anywhere from one to several messages per day. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier.

Opt-out: Reply STOP to any Ryke.ai message to unsubscribe. After replying STOP, you will receive one final confirmation and no further messages until you re-enroll.

Carriers (including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Ryke.ai is offered on a subscription basis. Your one-month free trial begins on the date you complete onboarding. After the trial, your card on file will be charged the plan rate disclosed during checkout, and renew on the same cadence until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account or by emailing support@rykeai.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not issued for partial billing periods except where required by law.

You agree not to: (a) use Ryke.ai for any unlawful purpose; (b) impersonate another person; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the AI models or messaging infrastructure; (d) submit messages designed to extract confidential prompts, system instructions, or credentials; (e) use the service to harass, threaten, or harm others; (f) share your account credentials with anyone else.

Ryke.ai uses large language models to generate coaching responses. While we have implemented safety guardrails — including crisis detection, calorie-floor protections, and human review for flagged messages — AI output may contain errors, omissions, or recommendations that are not appropriate for your specific medical, psychological, or nutritional needs. Always consult a licensed medical professional before starting a new fitness, nutrition, or mental-health regimen. If you are experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ryke.ai and its operators, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to physical injury, dietary outcomes, psychological distress, or loss of data. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, if we determine in good faith that you have violated these Terms, engaged in abusive behavior, or otherwise harmed the platform or other users. You may also terminate your account at any time by following the cancellation steps above.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by SMS to the number on file at least seven (7) days before taking effect. Continued use of Ryke.ai after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
